IMHO I think that some of us are so full of ourselves that they do not care if they offend. They use big words and talk in jargon that is hard to follow unless you have a scribe beside you.I should have known better than to get sucked into this thread by someone who just wanted to see the reactions. Also to have someone agree with him but then say " Hey, I don't need no stinkin' agreements" Man, if I didn't like it here and if one of our fine mods would not be mad...............................I would love to talk to a couple people very candidly. Most said sales were slow but that was good for us buyers!

Lot of talk about Sistersville and if the show will be hurt buy the lack of rooms.

Saw a VERY rare Akro box that still had the ship to label on it but I can remember the guys name that had it.

Kevin, my experience(started in 1993) is that there are more good than bad, but there are for sure people out there that will play games. I'm sure its just as bad in the other antique hobbies. I just bought a handmade that was buffed, didnt realize it until I got it home. I only paid 20.00 for it but still... I should be more careful. I gave it to my daughter to play with, it wont end up back in circulation.

So buffing made it junk?

Just my 2 cents I think these thread can be good I mean everbody seems to know everybody so why not drop names?

Instead of a twelve man jury it would be however many people want to be in on the thread.

We all know talking behind peoples back is a regulat thing now days in the marble collecting community so why try to hide it?
