Sometimes it's nice to get some from my jar of loose micas out for a picture. Not sure the idea of putting them on my piano keys is the greatest artistic setting but hey...........

    Musical Micas 😁 how fun!

Is that a red mica on the left??

  2. Despite covid, the shows I've been fortunate enough to attend in 2021 and 2022 show renewal and even new interest in the hobby.  Much has to do with those who contribute many hours to the planning and marketing of the shows.

IMO, demand for machine mades has not diminished by any means.  For example, Christensen, Akro and Peltier continue to be highly sought after and many yield super high prices.

I agree that finding in the wild is tougher than ever but one must remember that many killers are locked up in private collections.

    What a hobby!

Granted, it's a mixed lot of marbles containing newer items, as described, but this guy bid and decided not to pay. When I messaged him, he replied stating he wasn't paying a bunch of money for a bunch of mostly newer marbles. Naturally, my question was why bid then?

Your listings (and grading) consistently set the standard for how to list, accurately describe and grade.  Thank you for your honesty, objectivity, knowledge and passion for the hobby!

As far as the winning bidder not paying for the lot, what goes around comes around.  We shall see but I doubt ebay bans him.
