Picture one shows the road and tunnel. I'm not sure exactly what qualifies as one or if this is one. Some of the pics I've seen are really clear, while others are less defined for the trait. It's 49/64 (.77) inches, no UV.

I agree with Chad- that is an annealing fracture, AKA a crack. No way is it a "cut off mark' or pontil. If you are still happy when you get it in hand, then congrats on the purchase and enjoy the marble. But you paid good money for something that in my opinion doesn't match the description of "no cracks" or "mint 9.9 condition". So if you are not 100% satisfied, I would return it. It may be rare and hard to find again right away, but for that price, you should be beyond thrilled with what you got. That's just my opinion. I usually don't like to weigh in on other people's purchases. I believe that if you went into a purchase knowing exactly what you were getting for the money you were spending and are happy with what you got- then that's all that matters. Buy what you like for what you can afford. It's your collection. But you did ask the group about this one and there is a question about the accuracy of the description, so I am commenting. I hope it helps and above all, I hope you love the marble you bought!

@Fire1981 That last one is not an Ace. There were a lot of runs with oxblood in a clear base, but Ace's wasn't one of them.

I wondered about Heaton, but I have so few examples to compare it to. Thanks Folks!

@aussie No Worries- I figured it was completely unintentional. It just caught my eye. As you said, different countries, different meanings. You pics are pretty blurry, but I do see the cut line you mention. It looks like it is similar to the one on mine. Hard to tell the color, but I assume it is similar since my OP caught your attention. Thanks for sharing. Cheers!

I'd say JABO. They had several runs that got really dark- March Madness, Dark Knight, among others.

Not an Ace. They have a pink champagne base. And most are 3/4 inch plus or minus. So maybe just a JABO classic or something else. I'm not positive, other than not an Ace.

My marble has a twin! Did folks think yours might be an Akro too?

Nice one too, Parmcat!

Fiestas are Red, Yellow and Blue (see pic). So I think it's a 'Sunflower' (Clear base with opaque orange, yellow, and brown swirls)

I love the bubble! It adds such character. And the other one being a Vitro Horseshoe "cat's eye" really expands my definition of that category. Does the Vacor one have a name that anyone knows? Thanks all!

That's my only guess. It's 5/8 in (.62) with heavy UV glow in the wispy white and clear glass. The orange glass is a rather unique shade/color.

I don't think it's a slag as there is a very light blue tracer in the white glass. It's larger size rules out several companies, so Alley? It's 45/64 (.70) inch with no UV.

I bought these a while back and they were described as being "German wire pulls from the 1950's or 60's" Are they Veiligglas? Or something else entirely? I love them- so simple and clean. The smaller one on the left is really a dark forest green and measures 7/8 (.87) inch. The red, white, and blue one is a hair over 1 inch. No UV in either.

By definition, "Ade's" have to glow under UV. You can't miss them- it's super bright. So this isn't a lemonade or limeade or ade base. I would agree with the sellers Ebay post of an Egg Yolk Oxblood with lime. Or maybe as Fire said a while back, it is a Yellow Corkscrew with Oxblood. Depends on how you define the yellow color. And on how the green presents in hand. The addition of a lime /green color would definitely make it more rare. Anyway, what ever you call it it's a super nice marble!

Well take some pics when you get a chance. I'd love to see them. Also, watch your abbreviations- that word is definitely derogatory here in the US. Marble on!

Thanks Cheese!

Not the prettiest, in my opinion. Yet some how I've ended up with 4 of them! They are all around 19/32 (.60).
