  1. Thanks Folks! Yours is very similar to mine, Roberto- a bit nicer on the blue color and a bit less yellow.
  2. Thanks folks! I'll go with calling this a blue boy. I had never noticed that it actually has a transparent base until a few days ago when I back lit it. All these years I thought it was an opaque black!
  3. It's a true peewee at 1/2 inch.
  4. Not sure on this one. The cut lines seem more unique to me, at least in my limited experience. Another kinda interesting color combo, again with some transparency. It's 41/64 (.64) inches.
  5. Kinda interesting color scheme. There is some transparency, as seen in the last back lit pic. It's21/32 (.65) inches.
  6. Thanks @Melissa! But I thought cub scouts were blue and yellow. To me, this one is black and yellow, although I do see that when back lit, the black looking glass shows blue. Is that what makes it a transparent cub scout? Thanks for clarifying. (This is actually one of the very few marbles in my collection that I've had since childhood many decades ago. Please don't tell me my childhood bumble bee is not to be a bee!🫣)
  7. Thanks folks. I totally meant Marble King, but typed Master by mistake. (I had just been searching for Master Sunbursts prior to this post.) P.S. I grew up calling these "Bumble Bees", so to me, that is what they are. Not trying to offend anyone else's naming preferences, but we all have our own experiences, so please forgive me if I continue to call them by that name.
  8. In hand the black looks opaque, but when back lit it is transparent, as seen in the last 2 photos. It's 39/64 (.60) inches.
  9. Master on the left and Vitro on the right? They are approximately 41/64 (.64) inches, with the left one slightly bigger and the right one slightly smaller.
  10. Lots of nice ones, Roberto. (And everyone else!) Here's a couple of mine. First a Ringer.
  11. Thanks Fire. Anyone have thoughts on what the one on the left is?
  12. They have a clear to lite greenish base and are 41/64 (.64) and 2/3 (.66) inches.
  13. Thanks Fire. I really struggle with seam ID. I've studied all the posts and pictures about them, but still have a hard time. Maybe having some more in hand examples will help me out for future ID's. We'll see. We'll see... (as said by Homer Simpson as they left New York city)
  14. Excellent! Thanks Fire.
  15. Also Peltier Peerless Patches? They are both a smidge bigger than 5/8 inches.
  16. Are these 2 Peltier Peerless Patches? They are both 41/64 (.64 ) inches.
  17. Maybe the first one is a lazy corkscrew more than a patch? (The red makes a giant "S" pattern.) They are 5/8 and 2/3 inches respectively.
  18. Cool. Thanks for clarifying that for me. I will stick to using those names for Pelts, but not Akros. A related question if folks see this- how about for Marble King Marbles? I frequently see some of these names (and other Pelt names) used for them. Is that generally accepted or not?
  19. I know Akro made corkscrews by the millions, but the colors on these made me wonder if they are akro or something newer. The colors stand out in my small collection of Akro. They are 21/32 inches with the green one just a bit smaller.
  20. Do Akro prize names, specials, and corkscrews with certain color combos have names like seen with other companies? For example, in the pics below would you call them: -Liberty (red, white and blue) -Christmas tree (red on green) -Spiderman (red on blue) -Ruby Bee (red on yellow) -Bumble Bee (black on yellow) - Zebra (black on white) -Indian Blanket (red and yellow on black)
  21. Thanks folks! I was wondering about that cut mark- it seemed rather distinct and unique, but I didn't know if it might be a trait or just a one off.
