  1. I think typically the bullseye's have a single color patch surrounded by same color bands running seam to seam. Color doesn't matter?? But most I 've seen are banded in a red color. Another note. I believe they can be back lit 180 degree of the patch and the bullseye is apparent?? My newb response. Lol

  2. Dot, You ask: Good investment? I state, It could be a great investment, or it could be a terrible investment!. When you are trying to find out specifics about a collectible, then you need to supply all the info you can about it. IE: Is it well centered, is it a first out of the mold, middle of the road, or a real dud with rounded edges on the component parts. Are there bubbles or a bubble attached to the figure and if so how big. Near Mint could mean anything! You actually need to describe it in the best of your ability the condition of the marble. etc., etc., etc., I'm only pointing these things to you in order to help you. Welcome to the board, Ronnie

Thanks. I will go back in there and check them out. A little closer and maybe take a few pics

  3. I am going to miss this one so I thought I would make a retired avatar thread. People can post a goodbye to their former Avatar with an explanation of why.

Mine is retired because I sold my beautiful Ally for 69 bucks on ebay....sniff good bye sweet flame!!!

  4. There really is no such thing as black glass.

The "black" marbles are usually Red,blue, green base with mixtures in the glass to make them black.

Purple is the most common as it is so dense it can even repel light and on a shiny surface, will not emit a purple hue,but pure black

    There are no black marbles

Per images, if you are using your cellular phone, go into your image settings and adjust the image to 3megs in size and they will be 1512x1084 (Gike or take)

Yeh I understand that concept....I have a popeye on ebay that if you look at the pics you would think it is black and yellow. But in the proper light and if you look close you can realize it is super really dark blue. So I listed it that way as Cobalt blue. The other one no matter what light i put on it looks black. I'm a huge Saints fan so to me it looks "BLACK AND GOLD" and may never leave my hands...LOL

  6. I know an antique store that has 9 sulphides and a large German separated core banded swirl..."NOT LUTZ" One of the sulphides is a boy sitting on a chair and is over 2" for 275.00 but is actually in what I would guess to be near mint + condition... the german is same condition and is about the same size for 85.00 Good investment???
