So brief story, met a fellow veteran that was selling 1,600 marbles. I took a look at the pics and decided to jump on the offer. I met with him this morning and he tells me that he used to work at a Antique store in Pennsylvania and that's where he got them from. I will be posting pics of those marbles but I have a strong feeling that most are jabos and in 9-10 condition on most of them. Here's a few of the 1 inch ones that I don't know what they are..besides beautiful.

So it's defective or was exposed to heat?  

This red white and blue fella is about 1.35 inches in diameter. Looks like a vacor or modern Asian to me. 

Are these peltier or master or marble king or something else? The smaller one has 3 vanes and the rest have 4.

This old buddy looks tired and is lop sided. Can anyone give me a round about age? I figured it was hand made hence the flat surface but not sure. WV Swirl? Thanks

Just received these beauties from an eBay seller. Jabo different sizes and I am completely satisfied with all of them.

That green one does it for me.

Glow in the dark, those 2 solid white ones have a nice pattern to them.

I plan on displaying them one day, I'll just turn it to the side that has no fractures . I have no intention of ever selling them but more to pass on to my children.

I agree, These are great for learning taking into consideration that the rest are in very good condition. I am happy with my purchase not only for the value but the educational benefits it provides me. I thank all of you because if it wasn't for you guys and a book I purchased I would be lost.

Similar design but different sizes and the last one looks agate.

This rascal is about an inch in diameter with 5 white vanes like a cat eye however it has that brown touch. Is it modern asian or vitro or something else?

The yellow one right? Bottom pic upper left hand corner. No I don't think I have a blacklight. I'll ask my daughter.

Burnt? Yes I can see that happening because of the heat. Good call.

The ugly one! It has two flat surfaces and looks burnt but have no idea what it is. The yellow cat eyes has 4 vanes
