  1. And, I think there is another reason for the tolerance on these marbles, i.e. is the time taken and the skill with which they were made
  2. Yes, as I said in another thread, small chips and chipping are much more tolerated in hand-made than in any machine, due (as Ron rightly says) of their age. I have seen rather high bids made even on German handmade with very marked chips
  3. The color is very similar to Heaton lime, very nice...
  4. I agree, it has always been a matter of debate I think the terminology "end of the day" is quite subjective, even if it actually has his purpose.
  5. Well, surely in the hand there is a more direct contact, of course....some, the rather occuped ones, are also very nice
  6. Wire pulls in theory, should have a wire beginning and end with that wire, without "touching", but it is also true that it is not always so
  7. Wire pull veiligglas, usually have wires, some may seem swirl after millions and millions they have done, but they hardly look like slag
  8. I exclude veiligglas in every way
  9. Yes, many may have produced it, so as I found many in Heaton
  10. Curiosity - That color in Heaton is called "sweet potato"
  11. The seam that I think I glimpse in the last photo of the first group, Master suggests
  12. The last photo of the first group, and the first two images of the second group, also make me think of Master, but only minimally
  13. Thanks Ron- Yes, veiligglas is the master, without any doubt! It will probably be very difficult, but I hope that in the future some document can emerge that certifies some production of these also in Germany
