  1. This one is pale yellow/tan with yellow swirls.. Very difficult to get a good photo of the colors.
  2. Not good lighting, but these darker green spots, and some of those light green ones sparkle but not nearly as much as the ones yall have posted. We haven't had any bright sunny days, once we get one I have to take them out side
  3. Just starting into the collection hobby and these are some of the neater patch and banded marbles I found
  4. thank you! don't ask me what they are lol. i have better luck with the patches
  5. Just starting into the collection hobby and I think after weeks researching, asking, and sorting through I have a neat little swirl collection going. Neat to me at least
  6. Are oxbloods identified by any particular pattern of the color, or is it just the color itself? I'm excited I got one right
  7. I found a website identifying akro marbles, one is called an experimental oxblood. It looks just like this, obviously white not oxblood. Could that be it? It's towards the bottom https://old.buymarbles.com.buymarbles.com/marblealan/akro.html
  8. the second row middle looks like it could be a christensen layered sand... but i have been wrong almost every time i make a marble assumption so...
  9. so they are like, misprints and errors? i love it! yeah this marble is an odd one. the "core" as you can see is not centered.
  10. So, i was going through my old marbles from when i was a kid that i am sure are run-of-the-mill but i noticed a few of my cat's eyes looked odd. I included some pics. First pic has some that are tri color cats eyes but have a subsurface mark that is a deep brown/reddish. Second is a green marble with a rotten banana shape. The following 3 look clear but require white background and good lighting to see the lines- a clear transparent with barely visible whispy lines. Followed by two marbles, green and blue that have thin, single strand jalapeno-like eyes instead of banana shaped All of these are near the surface but below, not painted on. The last one is a transparent blue marble that has what looks like a lattice core, but actually has a straight cable-like web which is not centered. I tried watching the identifying cat's eyes videos for some info. thank you for any insight
  11. wow that one is gorgeous it looks like a lollipop
  12. Thanks. I can see it when they look more spaced apart as in some of the pics. Sorry, I have partial Color blindness and it makes some color id'ing hard for me...I don't mean to ask anything obvious or stupid if I am. I appreciate the advice!
  13. I believe these are master marble sunbursts, but i don't know what aventurine looks like on a marble.
  14. I don't know if the two marks in the last pictures are pontils or surface bubbles, but they are on opposite poles
  15. found these in a lot, and if they are cats eyes what kind are they? thanks!
