If you are happy, you did not overpay. Even if next year you find ten of them for $1.00. You were happy with the first one.
Exactly 💯

Correct Champion marble named Pumpkins by the late Charlie Stutsman. Then later named Hot Wheels by someone else. I don't know who ? Same marble two different names. Less confusion that way LOL, LOL. The name game. Name it so it is worth more. Buy a name. But I like buying marbles better. I have bought a name more than once and I was not happy with myself later on.
Thank you Ron,I will have to admit I did gravitate to the hot wheels name or at least the name drew me in,once I got an eye on the actual mib I was sold, and then once in hand wowza I'm super impressed with it,it's definitely one of my top shelf lookers and I really don't think I over paid for it to be honest.thank you for the id and history my friend.

It is not Jabo. It is old and I would have it with my Alleys.
Thank you Ron

OK ! Here I’m not that schooled when it comes to WVS. I think the big white Noodley ribbon is too big for it to be an Alley. If it’s not a Jabo I’ll buy some 🍿🔥
RAR
I was leaning JABO a bit myself.ill just throw it in the shoulder shrug batch and move on 😁.I like all the input though.

Well, I am not as sure about Alley anymore. There are a lot of reflections of the surroundings on the marble. They are very distracting and make it hard to see the details.
Last attempt sorry to bother you all I'm half tempted to ship this thing out to someone to get it in hand 😂

There are JABOs with metal - the "Lawnchair" marbles for instance, and rare marbles from the Peltier Mansion Investor Run actually have silver in them. There are also some Alleys, Champions, Peltiers and others that have real metal in them but their numbers are limited and it seems like more of a fluke (somebody tossed a coin or a beer can into the furnace) than an intentional addition of metal.
Awesome thanks for the history! I appreciate that.

It looks like an Alley to me and I have seen others that appear to have a metallic sheen in the ribbons - not exactly sure what it is but I don't think it's actually metal, more like chemistry of some sort.
Awesome thanks for the insight, the "sheen" was throwing me for a loop.i think JABO actually put metal in or am I misunderstanding that? I haven't studied up on JABO much I just see the occasional lawn chair remark on some JABO id's.

Wasp or Tiger can be a tough call from photos since the color is so important and cameras, monitors and perceptions can be different too. It looks pretty orange on my monitor which would move it towards a Tiger but you have it in hand and if you say it's more red then a Wasp it would be. It appears the colors are weak (especially the "black") regardless of what you call it and there is always a chance it's just a "tweener" too.
Great info ric thanks so much for the knowledge
