Does the surface also have an iridescent shine ??
No sir I am not seeing that trait.i did put it next to some iridized vacors and compared I didn't see any.thank you for reminding me of that.surely this couldn't be a jabo could it ?

Yikes! You do not see one like this everyday.
I do not recognize it as a Vacor.
Good luck!
Marble--On!!
Only reason I was thinking vacor was the orange peel surface other than that I have no clue!

Found this in a jar yesterday it's gorgeous the white and blue ribbons start lightly on the surface and dive deep into the clear amber base I see some faint clear green whisps in there also.kinda cats eye feeling.it also has orange peel on the surface not real prominent but noticeable.thank you for looking and any info is good info in my book.looks like some specs of green aventurine (not a lot)

You are getting better with the pictures fast. Alley Blue Lady, the third Alley marble that I ever named. It was my X wifes favorite Alley. It was named about 2004 during a Sistersville show, now no more.
Thank you ron.much appreciated

That’s a beauty. I bet it looks even nicer in natural light. What camera are you using to take your photos with? The staging and the light looks good. My eyes could be tired but the focus seems a tiny bit off.
Thank you,I'm using a pixel 6 and I made a photo box out of cardboard and parchment paper.the light is one of those adjustable selfie lights cheap but it's easy to move it around.i am still playing around with it and fine tuning my skills.

These were made with three different color trucks, a blue like above, a yellow and a green. Each set was packaged with a box of Ravenswood marbles. These marble boxes also come in three colors red, blue and green. The big box for the entire set is shaped on the end like a garage roof gable.
Why you have one with no paint, I am not sure ?
The man who made and sold these also had a patent on a steam shovel or crane as he called it. I talked with his grandson about the Truckers Marble Coaster. The grandson had six of the Automatic Crane for Trucking or shovel toys left, after everyone in the family had one. His grandfather got the patent but never got to sell any of Automatic Cranes. They also were going to use 9/16 Ravenswood marbles. A marble is dropped in the smoke stack and it comes out in the shovel bucket on the end of the crane arm and could be dumped into the truck or something else. I was able to purchase four of the six. I gave one as Christmas present, I sold one and have the other two. Another collector friend in Iowa got the other two. I also have the prints for the automatic crane.
I did a Ravenswood Novelty video with Stephen Bahr that includes these and other toys that used marbles sold by Ravenswood.
The grandson had a small shed which held the remaining boxes of Ravenswood marbles. Many were destroyed by age and weather. Most of the marbles were shoveled up into buckets, and remaining boxes sold to a collector in Ohio.
Love this thank you for sharing I will be looking for the video!
