It seems like a common marble, but I'm pretty sure that's the only one I have out of thousands. Is it Vitro or Pelt? is it old?

This is the only one like thus I have. Maybe it's not common? Thanks in advance.

I dont know how you all get the measurements. I have the tool, but don't know how to read it I guess. In, or mm?

This marble has a flat feel to it, and it feels maybe a little heavier. thank you!

I have had this marble in a plastic bag for years. It's the only one i have, guess I thought it was special. I took pictures with the sun on it, tried with blocking sun out and using flash, without flash. It's hard to picturize it. I have complete confidence this is probably an easy one for you all in here, you guys know an amazing amount of stuff about marbles, I am so glad I get to be a part of.

Yes, Onion skins "onions" (shown in the 2 pix I posted) are Antique German cane cut marbles, as are all the "glass" Germans (Antique Cane cut) present in your photos. "If" you have any Lutz or aventurine present in any of your german handmades, yes it is desirable. From the pix I can't tell if you do or don't. Condition is always # 1 in marbles as far as value goes ( machine made, handmade or contemporary) I remember when I started collecting, my mentor telling me, condition, condition, condition. There are a few cases where you can have an extremely rare marble and it will still have value but the other 98% as far as value is all condition. I always collect what I like and get the best example possible, the only one you have to make happy is you ..  

Here is a picture of an onionskin I have loaded w/ lutz, they are a very beautiful marble IMO, the high mint condition makes a big difference in  both appearance (clarity) and value.

Ok, thank you so are Onions Germán? and the Lutz in one of the ribbons is highly desirable correct?  What about a Germán marble is good? such as a single core inside, or ribbons more towards the outer????

Yes!!! Going to California to have a grandbaby girl. So I will be basking in the rays for a while, feeling great! My UV light is in Vancouver, but I will check it out when I get there friday.

Figured I would show all pics and get your feedback.I have some german marbles, very few almost no knowledge. But because of this I figured I should get some more. HaHaHa, good reason to get some more beautiful marbles, right???

Yaaa, that was the one I had spotted to, in hopes of it's perfection. I have to go to California Saturday, hope I get them before then....

I didn't realize how beautiful the blue one was until I pictured it with the flash and looked at I through the fabulous sunshine I am experiencing finally here in Washington state. I finally saw a pic on here of the dark purple and green mibs, just to confirm they are Alleys correct?

My hope is a couple of those are in great condition, I don't see any damage on a few. Hope they are fabulous....i have a few different pics. I will show much better once I receive them.

I won these and am super excited! I don't have many German swirls, I hooe these are in good shape when I receive them. What do you guys th8nk? I'm sure I spent to much. Auctions always get me like that. Oops marble love.....

As far as collector's names, I think the top right here is a Superior. 




I started to say all three were Superiors but I'm not so sure.  I think we might have a Buttermilk on the left, maybe on the bottom also,  but do wait for someone who actually knows to chime in.
