  1. I know that if one looks hard enough they can find random 9’s on marbles. Of course finding a 9 on a marble doesn’t automaticallly mean that it’s a handgather or that it’s a transitional. Understanding this I am confident that this 9 is not a random one and that it signify’s at the very least that it was made either by the same company or by the same machine as the others that I have with this specific type of a 9 pattern. 2. Alan, I retract my original answer. I believe the base glass is a transparent pink color and the ribbon is actually white. Proof of this can be found on the pontil where the ribbon can be viewed on the surface of the marble revealing that it is in fact white. So from there I can only assume it is the transparent base glass giving the pink color.
  3. I actually have a question about chalkies. If I was blind folded and someone handed me a chalky. Would I be able to tell that something was up with the marble or would it feel just like any another marble?
  4. that's a tough one to answer. First looking at it you notice that it's a darker clear base. Like a brown almost. I don't know if it's the lutz giving it this darker than normal appearance. I am certain that the luts is gold in color. I am also certain that the alternating ribbon between the lutz ribbon is pink. Even though there are several different posinlties my best guess is that it is pink swirls with lutz inside brownish blue transparent base glass.

  6. I'm confused.... What's the purpose of this reply? I know what Chalkies are. I only said that I was reminded of chalkies. I never said that I thought it was a chalky. It's quite obviously not a chalky.
  7. hmm, its playing on my end. I have included some photos to help show in place of the video not playing.
  8. So today I was caught off guard whenever I was quickly looking over a bag of marble mail that I just received but was too busy at the moment to fully dive into. From the auction that I bid on, the photos didn't curious as to how truly rare (if at all) this marble is. IMG_0127.mov
