It’s very difficult to really determine what is happend on the opposite side of the “:9” and even harder to capture a photo of it. The video I posted is still the best illustration showing the backside of the “9”

The second photo is actually a photo taken whilst be affected by a 365 UV. As you can see, it causes it to glow green but very soft. It glows undeniably so, but it leaves something to be desired.

Still dont understand why there is a comparison to a zebra. To me it's opaque black base with a white ribbon with a pinstripe of black in the white.

I've understood what y'all are showing pictures of to be an Orion Belt. Here Is a photo of what Ive understood a Cannonball to look like.

I’m fairly confident this is a peltier cannon ball. I just wish it wasn’t in such bad shape. Measures just over 11/16th.

Thats good information. Thank you. Let me ask you this. Knowing the information that you just told me, could that information point to specific makers? could that information be used when trying to narrow down an identification?

Word of the day esoteric. I like it. Also good information concerning slags and transparent swirls. I agree with your statement and thank you for offering it. Truely. I want to ensure I know which recent slag you are referring to. The mint green one I assume? I would say no it doesn’t reacts to UV or atleast not very brightly or obviously. Whenever I put a 395 on it, it has a very mild blue glow. Would could simply just be because of the purple light being shown on it. Taking a decent photo that really illustrates what I’m seeing is proving to be difficult. I can’t seem to find my 365 as I would be curious as to how it reacts to it. Here are a very photos from a 195.

All joking aside, I actually dont think that this is even a green base. Upon further examining the green is actually transparent green and brown swirls with opaque white swirls in a clear base. In hand I can actually see where the green starts and stops. Ill try to get a good photo to illustrate this.

Okay so a lot going on here. So sorry for my absence. I fail to get on here as often as I should. I guess first I have some questions. So the presences of aventurine can make or break an identity? I understand is some situations it would. For instance the Alley Spruce. without the aventurine it's just an alley marble with opaque white and green swirls. Makes sense. But for a marble like the jolly green giant. It has a particular large size, I don't know as though ive seen one that didnt have oven brick. The green in it is a different green than I have seen in any other marble. But even with all those exact same characteristics, if it does have aventurine it's just a large alley swirl with a deep mysterious green and oven brick. Well what if it has a single sparkle of aventurine? Its back to being a jolly green giant? It just seems more suitable that the presences of aventurine would be better served as a way of confirming that it for sure is a jolly green giant and also it should serve to increase its valuable and sellability. I have another example. Peltier Blue Lagoon. I think there is only one example i've been able to find that has aventurine. But i've seen marbles that fit the characteristics of a blue lagoon but because no aventurine it's just a marble that looks like a blue lagoon. Who's to say the one with aventurine is the exception and the accidental use of aventurine? Still exceptionally rare. It makes it so that the one person that finds that anomaly that no-one will ever come across again because it didn't happen on purpose. Another example, I have a Pelt MCR that is soaked with AV. The only one that i've ever seen or heard of. Where is its special name at. Further more, you should know, that I don't actually believe any of this crap and just wanted to jerk you guys around a bit. Of course aventurine matters, its the bases for which it was probably named in the first place. Im sorta serious about the blue lagoon thing only because I have a one or two that I think should be considered blue lagoon but I think I speak for everyone when I say, we all want to have a super rare hard to find marble that others would be jealous but at the same time very happy for us. Thats what makes rare, so valuable, desirable and sought after. To get back on topic, This one does have aventurine but I would say it doesn't have it in the capacity that a jolly green giant would need in order to be considered as such. To answer another question, no it does not fluoresce.
