  1. Getting down to group of just don't know. A is a weird mix of colors with almost straight seams. B has the beautiful blue color w/bubbles and the white is not "painted on" but is 3D. C the seams run up and down from the patch, not on the edges of the patch.. color combo makes me thing Akro but again, seams are odd. A = .62 B = .65 C = .68 Thank you so much!
  2. Thank you so much. I would have never thought Pelt so need to up my videos on that.
  3. These two have been sitting on my desk for awhile and finally decided to try find out what they are. I don't think the one on left fits in the Jabo line, but I'm a newbie. I believe the yellow & red is marble king due to one V and one U (am I starting to get this?). Both show some damage, but still interesting. THANK YOU for any help.
  4. WOW... totally different... and beautiful. Glad a I didn't go by Google ID! Thank you
  5. Been looking for a match to this one... beautiful and in my case permanently no matter what it turns out to be; but would be nice to have a name. The patch is almost wood like. When I seach with phone camera, the first thing that popped was Peltier Copperhead that had sold online which I don't trust. Took pics in natural and under circ light. Last pic has round light reflect, that is not a pontil or chip, just light circle. Measures .85 All help appreciated.

    MK?

Agree. Have been watching Stephen Bahr videos on many different makers.... also have some books. My marble group members (Midwest Marble Club) have also been helpful to the newbie with 1000+ marbles. I've had them for about two years but illness and death in my family kept me from really diving in. Thus, just kept acquiring when could in hopes I would get to them someday. Someday finally arrived this winter and I'm surrounded by marbles in plastic cases with little slips of paper and scrawled names! I've learned a lot but know just tip of the iceberg. I'm looking to purchase a copy of the book "Peltier Glass Toy Marbles"... know expensive, but did spring for the CAC red one and LOVE IT. Also trying to find the Peltier Marble poster from Stephen Erst, but I'm late to the game in trying to get that as well and striking out. I bought two jars of Vacor recently but again late to the game to get book For the Love of Vacors. But I'll keep looking for them all and hope to score yet. Really appreciate this forum as I'm not on facebook. Thanks y'all!

    MK?

Thank you for the ID and the explanation. Sometimes just an ID doesn't help me understand why.

    MK?

Seemed so simple... Marble King Bumble Bee... but when I went to put them with "known" others... they don't quite look the same. Headed as the newbie to a marble show in a month and want to be sure I have labeled correctly.... opinions welcome!! Thank you. A = .63 B = .66 C = .69 D = .62
  9. Super... I looked up the stelaris and that's it! QUESTION... so the one color "frit" vacors are not called confetti?.... what are they called... just frit? Want to be sure I understand as have a dozen+ single color small "frit". Hope to start selling some of these soon and need to know what I'm selling so no one disappointed or sending me nasty grams. Thanks.
  10. The two "galaxies" are not shiny like typical vacor so threw me off. Thanks for the help!
  11. I believe A and B are Vacor Galaxy, although finish is VERY smooth, it could be considered "orange peel". Thinking C is Vacor Confetti... have several of each so want to be sure before labeling. THANK YOU. p.s. Trying to locate a copy of For the Love of Vacors Book, but I'm not on facebook so having some difficulty. Tried reaching out to Andy through this site, but no response. If anyone knows where I can reach out to purchase a copy, please message me.
  12. Thank you... get so wrapped up in ID videos, I forget about the "naturals".
  13. Found in estate sale jar with German swirls, but this one a little different and really interesting layers. Measures .50
  14. These are pretty beat up but still would like to see if can figure out what they are. Estate sale find in a jar with a German swirls, latticinos, and a gooseberry. Had some in-person help from a very reliable source to ID those, but figured I'd bothered him enough and didn't want to ask on these. Any and all help or direction to sources appreciated! Measurements A .81 B .67 C .79 D .83 E .59
  15. In searching online there is something similar nicknamed a green bay packer... but this one has blue too so doesn't quite fit. The colors blend.... blue and yellow make green... but still the green is almost teal where first meets blue. Slightly beat up, but still eye catching. All help appreciated!
  16. Going through the pictures at Joe's and see MK Blended Spiderman but examples have more all over coverage. Not finding anything Pelt with these colors, but I'm new to the game. Pics 1-3 are representative of their true colors.... used flash on 4&5 to get better look at seams and variation. Beautiful marbles whatever they are. All thoughts and input very much appreciated.
  17. These arrived all together in the same large batch from an estate sale.... but not sure all the same. Color scheme VERY similar. Group A has what some call "butt cracks"; or are they "folds". That is not readily evident Group B. The ribbons make me think Pelt, but several in Group P are almost total coverage. Love the colors and hoping for some ID help. Thank you!
  18. Kim here. Favorites are JABO/DAS and more recently NLG. Have only been collecting about two years. I go to a lot of estate sales so have quite a bit of "everything"... or they might be nothing. Time & ID videos will tell🤭. This group has been super helpful... so glad I found you.
  19. Sorry... are the top 4 pelts and the bottom marble king? or the other way around?
  20. Drawing a blank....I thought I had seen the four on top in one of Stephen Bahr's videos, but am working my way through 1000+ marbles before our show and I'll be darned if I can find or remember what they were. The four on top are nice white with aventurine green ribbon and measure .60-.61 The bottom one is similar, but not seeing aventurine - instead a very light tan on the ribbon with "patch" on the bottom. Included it in the pictures in case can help with that one as well. Measures .63 This group has been a lifesaver for me just learning marbles (I'm not on facebook); so appreciate the help from everyone!
  21. Three batches... similarities but obviously different. Thinking first and second groups may be Peltier, but no guess on group 3. All input appreciated... thank you!!!

  23. The batch pictured all found together at estate sale. Glass is VERY dark amber. MOST have a one reddish, one yellow and one green stripe/strip. On two of them the strips are really narrow, almost buried in the dark amber. Measure .60 to .65. At first thought maybe something Vacor, but they are not "oily" enough... almost matte under the shine. Similar in initial appearance to the peltier green glass 7ups, but not a match on closer inspection. All help and direction appreciated. I don't mind hunting pictures and books as am learning a ton, but would love a starting point. THANK YOU.
  24. Thank you so much... the learning curve on marbles is huge and I appreciate the comments and help!
