  1. These arrived all together in the same large batch from an estate sale.... but not sure all the same. Color scheme VERY similar. Group A has what some call "butt cracks"; or are they "folds". That is not readily evident Group B. The ribbons make me think Pelt, but several in Group P are almost total coverage. Love the colors and hoping for some ID help. Thank you!
  2. Kim here. Favorites are JABO/DAS and more recently NLG. Have only been collecting about two years. I go to a lot of estate sales so have quite a bit of "everything"... or they might be nothing. Time & ID videos will tell🤭. This group has been super helpful... so glad I found you.
  3. Sorry... are the top 4 pelts and the bottom marble king? or the other way around?
  4. Drawing a blank....I thought I had seen the four on top in one of Stephen Bahr's videos, but am working my way through 1000+ marbles before our show and I'll be darned if I can find or remember what they were. The four on top are nice white with aventurine green ribbon and measure .60-.61 The bottom one is similar, but not seeing aventurine - instead a very light tan on the ribbon with "patch" on the bottom. Included it in the pictures in case can help with that one as well. Measures .63 This group has been a lifesaver for me just learning marbles (I'm not on facebook); so appreciate the help from everyone!
  5. Three batches... similarities but obviously different. Thinking first and second groups may be Peltier, but no guess on group 3. All input appreciated... thank you!!!

  7. The batch pictured all found together at estate sale. Glass is VERY dark amber. MOST have a one reddish, one yellow and one green stripe/strip. On two of them the strips are really narrow, almost buried in the dark amber. Measure .60 to .65. At first thought maybe something Vacor, but they are not "oily" enough... almost matte under the shine. Similar in initial appearance to the peltier green glass 7ups, but not a match on closer inspection. All help and direction appreciated. I don't mind hunting pictures and books as am learning a ton, but would love a starting point. THANK YOU.
  8. Thank you so much... the learning curve on marbles is huge and I appreciate the comments and help!
  9. Patch confusion. In attempting to ID the left measures .63 and is lighter yellow and red almost moves to orange on one side. On the right I'm coming up with Acro Royal at .57. All input welcome! THANK YOU.
  10. Believe these are Vacor Red Devils but no other Vacor in the batch from estate sale, so now wondering. Red base glass nice and dark. Left measures .62 and right .63 THANK YOU!!!
  11. These three are similar but not the same. My best guess is Vitro All Red or Akro Tri-Color... but would love some help. From left to right they measure .61 .62 .61
  12. Sorry for poor quality pictures... I need to get a light box and again read the photo tips on the site! Hopefully easy ID for the pro's on this forum. A is white orange red and brown B is very white with the red (not bright red... but deep rusty red) c beautiful sort of muted creamy white, red and blue
  13. Working my way through a large collection of marbles and am gaining some knowledge - especially with the help on this site!!! Tried picturing these and "googling", but nothing comes close. Two on the left are similar (pale green leaning to aqua base) - one on the right is slightly different green/aqua and the red is nearing oxblood. Thank you so for looking! p.s. Special thanks for the great post on seams and cutlines!!! so helpful for me.

    JABO?

I have 250+ marbles from this purchase. I would say at least 80% of them are in this photo labeled 1992 5/8" classics from the West Virginia marble collectors club ID page. Going to keep searching when I can as do love the JABO's. But have about 600 other marbles to get to and the learning curve is HUGE!

    JABO?

They are all 5/8" and many of them are on the pages of the link to Marblemary.com labeled Jabo Classics Archives... SO HELPFUL... thank you so much! I agree... believe they are early "un named" runs, but wanted to be sure I wasn't calling them Jabo Classics if they weren't.

    JABO?

Tried to find more info on these (and there are several more in the same batch I bought in various colors. I ordered two jabo/das books but they seem to only picture the later "runs" and not the original early "classics"... does anyone know where there are good pictures of the early ones?

    JABO?

Thank you.... I will take more pictures tomorrow in the light and post them.

    JABO?

Really new to marbles. Was told they had been purchased in about 1998 and forgotten. Any help would be appreciated.
  19. Thank you for the info...Clearies.... I have quite a few (50+/-)of the smaller "red/amber" that I pictured as well as 4 shooters... all are stunning under UV light. Do you know who made them? I would like to keep some and sell some but don't want to mis-advertise what I have or overprice them. I sell on ebay and have a good rep I want to keep . I just brought home 6 more jars of marbles from estate sales found today... truly an addiction, but am learning a lot and anxious to learn more!
  20. This marble appears "clear" amber to red in daylight, but under a UV it is quite different and beautiful. Size is 14mm. Saw similar on ebay called a "sleeping red devil" by the seller. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you! Kim
