  1. It looks like from left to right you have a akro liberty, akro blue&yellow corkscrew. The middle one looks like a fabulous Carnelian Oxblood I think. Is that brown in there? I don't know what the green/orange one is. The last one on the right is a remarkable Akro Agate "Tri-Color" Corkscrew or a "Special" or even an Akro Agate Four-Color Special
  2. I think it's almost .7 Fire, don't you like these? How's it look? I think it's something my uncle would love. These are 4 more pictures of the 1st marble.
  3. 9 of my favorite marbles showed up at a online clothing store.
  4. I didn't know this: Later German slags: Many German "two-seam" or "striped transparent" slags were produced on machines, particularly from the 1950s to the 1960s. These are often easier to find and are identified by their uniform seam(s) and consistent patterns.
  5. Yeah, the size is what I was interested in but now it's a mystery. I should contact them about their marble, abstract more information/history.
  6. That's where my dad passed away also. My step mother still lives there. I grew up there in early childhood. What a small world 🌎
  7. Well Louisiana is good for seafood and little antique boxes that hold marbles. My own family grabbed 2 of mine.
  8. Thanks, Fire. I'm not getting it. I was just interested in it's size. Being how big it is, it must be a German and they don't know it.
  9. They are some kind of antique dealer so I took it for granted it was a CAC. What's it more valuable as? A German or CAC? These antique dealers can be wrong.
  10. That's like finding a 250 dollar mint shooter Lemonade oxblood full of blood for 8 dollars I think?
  11. Well then it's misidentified at Ruby Lane. https://www.rubylane.com/item/2220133-000169/Vintage-Toy-Marble-CAC-Christensen-Striped
  12. I don't think so, it's got that CAC striped pattern in the last picture. I think I see two seams.
  13. Uh-oh, I'm a Seahawk fan and all of the sudden we look like the Ravens.
  14. This is a striped transparent. .84 or 27/32. Monterous.
  15. I'm probably going to keep the marble. It's got the Oklahoma City Thunder colors. That's why I wanted in the first place. It's also got recognition. It may be this maker or that maker or this old or that old but it's beauty is unquestioned.
  16. I got lucky with this one, Tommy. The marble was .74 mint and the UV akro oxblood glass was remarkable. The marble also had that eye of the hurricane look I like. I think it was because the auction ended so quickly.
  17. Thanks, Carowill. I mentioned you because you are a top percentile collector of CACs.
  18. I'd like to see what Carowill and Akroorka has to say. The person I got it from said they would refund me if I wanted. I said I'd keep it if they back traced it's history. I've bought a couple of CAC swirls from them before.
  19. Well at least absolutely everybody is in agreement! 😄
  20. Here's pictures from the original owner. Better pictures than mine I think?
