The 6 color popeye thread has been very interesting to read.
It got me thinking about this one. Does anybody else have a
corkscrew with more than 5 true colors? Excluding hybred
popeyes and blends. I would love to see them.
Thanks Terry

Thanks everyone. I have had a lot of fun with this marble.
It's been to several shows, I've had comments about it
being Jabo,Christensen,ect.... Then I ask them to show
me one with aventurine. The stumped look is priceless!
Rick, I love to collect and post marbles that make you
think and go hmmm!?!?
Charles, I'll bring it to KC (if the weather isnt nasty)
Sami, Didn't you see it in Amanna a few years ago?

Here's a very different Peltier. It has a turkey head,
a butt crack, and aventurine. I'm not sure if it's a NLR.
Any thoughts? This was purchased about 5yrs ago, from
a fellow board member.

Patry, You make this tough for me! Popeyes are my favorites.

Clyde those have great patterns and bright colors.
With the nice symetry (even pattern) could they
possibly be beachballs? I haven't seen enough to
be sure, but they may fit the description.
Hope this helps, Terry

Here are a bunch of pictures of a Shamrock marble.
It was made by John Mcormick(sp?)
John etches in a little shamrock about .010" deep and fills it in with gold.
If a person were to buff this out,the marble would be out of round about
.010" to .015". These are just my thoughts on the marble in the auction.
Also, the seller is NOT John. John is very honest and would not try to
deceive anyone.
