  1. Has anyone considered Kokomo?……The marble does have somewhat of a “single band” kokomo style trait and is also overloaded with bubbles…..The only Pelt Rainbos Ive seen with thick bubbles like that are Sunsets…(EDIT-and a few PPP’s)……but? Here is a sample of a bubble filed single band Rainbo that I had years ago that at the time stirred up an ID controversy between it being a Pelt Rainbo or a Kokomo… I think it was 3/4” (have to go check my data base) and heres a hefty 15/16” Bubble filled “Twisted Sunset” Rainbo
  2. Here’s a favorite…. Nice sized 23/32” Akro UV Swirl EDIT: Even though its only a glower, I felt compelled to add this one because they’re usually found banged up pretty bad…
  3. OMG!!!! I didn’t even realize that I went this far back!!!….. lolz
  4. IMHO Pic#1 and pic#3 indicate classic “U and V” seam configuration for Master Made Marbles
  5. x2 with Winnie on this one, I have several Superiors that fit this bill….The “blooming white” configuration on the clear side and slightly larger sizes for many Vitros seals it for me…. However, I would be interested in seeing the other side of that one Nice Pelt on #1…. Looks sorta like a “fruit cocktail” style missing additional color
  6. 5/8” Light Green based with Vitrolite Opalescent white swirls throughout… I’m on the fence between pattern, size and color characteristics between Champion and Ravenswood…..What say you?
  7. Thank you… it’s been an extremely long time….still hangin in there, haven't been to any shows recently but I still continue to pick up mibs whenever I can
  8. Im used to seeing examples of this type like the one on the left… The one on the right has Red based glass (or do all of them have it?).
  9. I got my indoctrination into marble selling and buying when I first met Clyde at my first marble show in Granada Hills California (2001-2002?).... It was there where he purchased a golden rebel variant of which I sold to him ($80) without knowing really how much the marble was worth (I was a noobie).........As time went on and at every marble show that I would see him, I would ask to see "my baby" where he would proudly pull out his brag box and show it to me........Clyde was an avid Pelt collector and also had the most extensive Champion furnace marble assortment I've ever seen in one collection with at least 17 different samples.......a very knowledgeable and admirable collector and friend.....he will be missed greatly....RIP my friend
  10. I have moved these to the bay with starting prices of $9.99 and they will end on FRIDAY NIGHT 28MAR AROUND 5:00PM PST With a couple of hours left to bid, most of these are still at decent prices YOU CAN CLICK ON THE IMAGE BELOW TO GO DIRECTLY TO THE AUCTIONS
  11. Yes it is....and Ive had it for a long time....I will do a full research (lunt marble club) and bring my findings to the board
  12. Mike, can you or anyone else please shed some info on the Lunt Ave marble club?....I have a vase with the same logo on it....Is the club or any of its past or present members still around...anyone know?
  13. I was seventeen when this came out.....just heard it for the first time in years.....brings back some memories.....Also was a fantastic movie that was pretty realistic about the J-O-B struggle for me as a teenager in Los Angeles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VvSFl4GpHw
  14. Winnie, they look like some of the marbles from the Veiligglas factory
