Vitro Opal?

Pretty sure this is a mutant Vitro Opal, what do you think?

I don't see opalescent glass?? I do see some clear glass areas. Looks more like a trilite to me. I've never seen one in that color combination. So I guess I'd have to see it in hand to be sure. Have you tried backlighting it to see if the glass has fire and ice in it?

Hi and yes - glass has glow in one direction and not thru the clear end.

Look at it again with your light and make sure it's the white (opalescent glass) and not the effect of light passing through the orange ribbon. If it's the whitish glass and not the ribbon you probably have an opal.

looks like an older Conqueror, but not an opal.

Well, I was trying to get him to come to that conclusion on his own. Guess I wasn't direct enough. LOL

I don't know about a "Conqueror" they came multi-colored? thanks again

Yes, some of them have a patch and then a "V" in a different color. What makes it difficult is that some of the conquerors do have opalescent glass, but they are not opals. Not enough colors. I have some I could do a photo with, but I'm too tired to do that tonight. We're just in from Houston watching the grandson's baseball team. If I think about it tomorrow I'll do a pic for you.
