Bought several bags of about 75 marbles each for 1.99 at the thrift store and started separating by style. Gonna ask first on the ones I think are cool. Steph Posted August 26, 2019 Report Share Posted August 26, 2019 The marbles on the left are cat's eyes. Those are common. Specifically I think yours are mostly Vitro cage style cat's eyes. From the 1960's to the 1980's. The ones on the right appear to be wirepulls of the kind made by Veiligglas in Amsterdam in the 1950's and 1960's. (There's also a similar more modern style from Vacor de Mexico, but I think these are the older style.) They're not rare, but not nearly as easy to come by as cat's eyes. This is a popular style.
