Ronald
Helli all, I was gifted some pieces about 20 years ago and I'm trying to identify what these are made of. I told they are marble but not sure. Any help would be great. Thanks
Chad G.
Hello Ronald & "Welcome to Marble connection" All mineral or maybe agate ?? Someone more versed in mineral I.D. will probably chime in soon, I'm not that good @ it, except for maybe agates. Glad you're here, many years of combined marble & marble related information here. There is also a search bar in the upper right hand corner if you have a particular query in mind. Again "Welcome" Looks like quite a bit of marble (maybe some dyed??) Craytus
Lots of minerals and other stuff: tiger eye jasper, quartzes, feldspar, milk glass, sardonyx, etc. Nice collection.

Craytus
Marble is made of calcite crystals (white) and some colored grains of mica inclusions; the grains in a marble are locked together like jigsaw puzzle pieces. Similar.
