Are these paint brush types

I hope this is not to many questions but this is all new to me I have a few books but don’t see direct correlation in the photos and what I have

The first looks like a Vitro Transparent Whitie that's a little odd and the second looks like a brushed patch - Akro and Master both made them. This one looks a bit more Akro to me but it's tough to tell from the pics.
