The Nickel Guy
A little different light situation for these two images. I like these subtle swirl designs. Maybe they were intended to be game marbles but I can clearly see a swirl on both. They are about 9/16ths diameter.
Ric
I wouldn't say the marble on the left is a game marble - some kind of WV Swirl, but I'd need another view or two to attempt an ID. The one on the right looks more like a game marble to me. One interesting thing you'll find if you study game marbles enough is that even though they are one color, they still often have the traits that are typical for the company that made them. In other words, seams (or lack of them) and patterns are usually similar to the company's other marbles. 1
The Nickel Guy
I appreciate that Ric. I suppose a closer look at what are most definitely game marbles right out of a chinese checker game for example, might sometimes reveal a little swirl pattern in those marbles too.

You know, some people might say I have a clinical issue, but there are some game marbles that really float my boat. Master Cloudies, for instance . . . notice the seams - just like other Master Made Marbles. And Vitro Tomatoes . . . Seams and pattern just like lots of other Vitros. See the "V"? 1 1
