akroorka Posted February 15 Report Share Posted February 15 There are a few companies that made these "Matt" finished marbles. Vacor is known for these. Never waste a marble and most of the Vacor were given this finish because the intitial marble was out of sorts. They tumbled them and sold them as such. This one is not a Vacor. I would consider this one as a "Beach Marble" and it may be from the Great Lakes region. It is a WVS that took some sand "polishing". There are folks that Collect these. Nice find imho!
