Contract marbles

    I was wondering if any of the marble companies done contracts with other marble companies. To fill orders if date deadline was upon them and they would use that companies colors

This is a thing my friend. 
Many marble companies sold the marbles that they made to "Jobber " companies that were in fact “Toy Companies” that repackaged them with their own name. 
This is an old thing and it still goes on today.
Just think of the amount of Vacor marbles that were sold under different names. Mega was not the first by far. 
Imperial in California was by far the greatest jobber imho. They purchased marbles from about 20 different countries.
I could probably list 100 of them over the years back 100 years or so.( I will not do this--too tired) CAC jobbered out marbles and that goes back aways.The clays and even the Chinas were Jobbered- or sold to another name.
