Hey buddy what i do for my pictures is i use a headlamp for my lighting and have a galaxy s23ultra for my camera. I use the default 12mp camera setting and zoom to at least 2x or 2.5x. It comes down to color of your background. For lighter colored marbles, well most marbles I use a grey like background when taking pics. Whenever I am photographing a dark colored marble like a purple slag I use a slightly darker color for the background to help show the marble details better. You want to make sure you tap on the object your photographing to correct the focus then snap. After I've taken all my pictures.I use the app called photo room AI can share 50 pictures at once. It removes the background for me and centers the marble.
marblemanvintagemarbles
The best thing about the app I use for background removal is that once I save the pictures it changes the data size dramatically by saving in a different format. Making it easier to load the photos for the viewer. I then delete the original off my phone and keep the end results. I don't use any color tweaking or doctoring of the original picture. They are always as they were taken.
