What's this worth?

A high-end collector/seller wants to buy it from me. It's 11/16 and looks to be in great condition. I got it by accident while looking for oxbloods. I bought it for about 25. I said, what the heck.

That could be worth anywhere from $75-$400 with my personal opinion.

Thanks a lot! How about this one? It's 15/16" Collectible to Good Condition. They want 20.

That 1st marble is gorgeous and appear to be in amazing condition! Congrats on that one!

He's offering 150. I don't need the money but I can ask him if he wants to trade for his UV hybrid G/Y/R Popeye. It's Condition: Mint
Grade: 9.7
11/16″ + which is also 150. Would that be a fair trade or should I keep it? He only deals with elite stuff. He says the red is close to oxblood color.

At that size this one may be worth trying to resurface with an epoxy resin to restore it. May bring the value up considerably if done right.

I don't own that one. They actually want 12 but shipping/taxes makes it 23.

However ive never seen any Akro like that. I think that would have to be up to your preference.

There's a little sunken black glass that was machine made. Dose that hurt much? Thanks20250704_120738.thumb.jpg.3d86efb9ae8a78fc61b3fe407d4b50ec.jpg, man!

Thats actually a handmade German marble buddy. Its an as made defect. Given the rarity based of the condition of the rest of the marble i dont think that small imperfection will have that large of an impact on the overall desireablility of the marble.

I got a three and a half weekend. What about these two? They came with the first one. All NM, all 11/16.

Those little rough looking spots are referred to as pontils. Thats the spot the marble was taken off of the rod called a punty that they gather the molten glass with. They then shaped the marble with steel mold and once they were satisfied they twisted it off the punty rod usually creating that pontil mark. Sometimes they would melt that rough spot for a nicer finish

Marble on the right is more valuable however both of them both have some serious value.

Sounds like I have about $600 worth of marbles and I wasn't even looking for them. What I found was even more rare. These rare oxbloods I'll show you. They all came from the same estate purchase by a antique hunter who sells mostly antique and new clothes and toys. I'll have to get back at you tomorrow. I have to be at a party. 🥳

I wish I could find some marbles like this for a bargain within a large lot.

These marbles came with the Germans from the same place. It was some kind of estate hunter who found and sold them on her clothing store not knowing what they were. I'm sure you can see the two alien oxbloods. There is only one eggyolk and the other two are silver Onyx Oxbloods that are also rare. The first two are Golden Onyx Oxbloods. All Onyx except for the cub.

Holy Smokes dude you fell into some coochie with that deal.

How do you price those oxbloods? There's no example? The "Golden Onyx Oxbloods"? The other 3 probably came out of the same original box with them. The hunt is as good as the marbles.

Good hunt!

Way back when, when I sold marbles--just a few hundred or so. I would start them low and let the bidders fight it out.

Today, I trade them or keep them and I am not "Married" to many of them.

I always did well but I alway represented what I sold very well.

Just a tip.

Marble--On!!
