Another un-ID'd Handmade

Recommended Posts

Here is another from my recent purchase. It was with a bunch of other German handmade latticinios, ribbons, onionskins, etc. The group hadn't seen the light of day for at least 40 years. It comes in at just over 1.25 inches with a single faceted pontil (if I have my pontil id correct). It seems to be in the cloud category, but is unlike any others I have seen. The red really looks to be oxblood in hand. Definitely a cool marble and in very great shape.

This is a nice example of a marble that I have never seen before:dunno:.

You may look at the oxblood and overlook the white.

It is quite a nice white--deep and rich.

This one was made with a torch involved imho and my first impression was a "Bulgarian".

Do not get me wrong--I just love it--it is just not that old.

This is one that I would not mind holding in hand--very cool!

I appreciate all opinions and hope to see some more.

Thanks for the feedback. It feels and looks more modern to me too, but I am confident it is at least 40 years old. (Which is still modern, but maybe not contemporary and part of the more recent boom of new handmade torch marbles.) I find no signature on it. When were the Bulgarian torch marbles made?
