Well, if that last marble is an oxblood snake, it could be worth 100-200 depending on any damage. We'll need more pictures of it. Here's one that's 200. I believe it's in good shape. Countryboy78
Is this the one you're talking about when you say ox blood?
Wolf
It certainly looks like it could be some type of oxblood in a clear base. Is there a bunch of glass bubbles in it?
Countryboy78
Yes it's full of bubbles
Countryboy78
This is about as good as a picture I can get with the phone I have. Both of these are like that I don't know what ox blood means I was thinking Oxford means it should be red but that doesn't sound right. I'm just wanting to get the best price I can for them I've got I don't know I may have a thousand marbles of different types I'm really overwhelmed. These are all clay and stone marbles. And then these say bennington's which I don't know what that means but if bags full of them they're really neat looking.
Wolf
I don't know much about Bennington marbles except this, "Bennington marbles were not made by a single company but were a type of antique, non-glass clay marble produced in large quantities in both Germany and the United States, primarily during the mid-1800s. They are known for the unique "eye" or bullseye patterns that formed when marbles touched during the firing process in the kiln." "oxblood" describes an opaque, deep rust-red color, often with black filaments, that resembles dried blood. This color is distinct from other reds because it is always opaque, meaning it is solid and doesn't allow light to pass through, unlike transparent or translucent reds. It can appear on various base colors and patterns, such as in an oxblood corkscrew or swirl, but the key characteristic is its unique opaque, dark-red appearance with black filaments" You may have an oxblood snake. Akroorka may be able to confirm it. He should be around tomorrow. He probably knows a lot more about Benningtons as well. Hope this helps...
