Opal is always hard to ID when orange or red is involved, even in hand.

I love opal in a marble and so did many folks that used these as toys because they lit up in the sun light and under the clouds as well--uv light makes these light up--not a glow but just a highlight.

If you can push some white light through this one with out getting any colors involved--it will shoe a pinkish/reddish glow in a narrow window.
