The Nickel Guy
I assume that Marble King made the newer type Rainbows and other wanna be named marbles like bumble bees, wasps. cub scouts and tigers etc. They appear to have only 2 pole patches and a solid color. They made some three color marbles since the older type patch and ribbons and marbles like Ninja Turtles and Painted Turtles and others. Yes I know they aren't the same, but they don't offer them from the factory for sale. They do sell clearies, cats eyes and solids but I would like to have a small collection of different newer issues other than those. Does anyone know where there might be reasonably priced newer and the better MK marbles being sold to the public online? I am not trying to buy here from members and skirt the rules about buying and selling. I'm just baffled why Marble King doesn't sell a whole lot of different cooler marbles than the common stuff they offer. I know they make other stuff right? Thanks!
Fire1981
In a nutshell my guess is money, supply and demand and not having a huge fan base. Kids are on their phones and very few knuckle down. That’s just my take on it. Some may have a more detailed answer for you🔥 RAR
The Nickel Guy
Thank you for responding Fire. I know Jack Hahn had a bunch at the NJ marble show last April. I hope he is doing OK. I am pretty sure he lost his wife not too long ago. Such a mellow guy. I guess I'll just have to wait til the next NJ show. I am sure that MK made millions of these newer marbles. Where they went or where they are going just seems to be a mystery to me.
