Im trying to learn

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone,

I’m hoping for some help identifying these marbles. They came from an estate collection that belonged to my father, who was born in 1939 and collected for many years.

Some appear machine-made, while others are irregular and may be handmade or transitional, but I’m not knowledgeable enough to be sure. I’ve included several photos and measurements to help with identification.

Any information on type, maker, era, or anything else you notice would be greatly appreciated.

I should mention that some of these may eventually be for sale, but my main goal right now is learning exactly what I have so I can represent them honestly. If anyone has advice on that as well, I’d welcome it.

Thank you for your time and expertise.
