Something new from Mexico?

For some reason, these look a lot better in hand than these images but I ended up with a good start on a "set" of 24 to in the foreground with a purchase from Hobby Lobby yesterday. Then 11 extras that are not in as nice condition in the background.

Some have a transparent section of blue while others have a patch of white. They are a mix of swirly patches and ribbons that appear to be from a same run I think.

Any combination of Dark Blue, Light Blue, Yellow, White, and transparent Blue seem to be the colors used. Not all appear. They are kind of cool. I hope we see more models coming out. Until they get a name, I have dubbed them "Something Blue" and I'll just keep them together and hope a shooter pops up someday.

Unmarked?  I wouldn't expect that from Mega/Vacor.   Was Mexico given as country of origin?

Absolutely came out of net bags last Tuesday night.

I have three of those 24 sectioned plastic cases with odd stuff like these. Mega Marbles from Mexico stick marbles in the bags that occasionally don't have names. Hobby Lobby is the only place I know that gets the 25 and 50 count Assorted Net Bags (see tag). These might end up being a model later, but then again, they just might be something they tried and had them in a bin or barrels and are trickling them out in the assorted bags. I am sure they can be found elsewhere at other branches than my Hobby Lobby but they might disappear soon too.

The latest date on tags I am finding is from way back in Nov 2025. Nothing newer but maybe they just have a bunch of tags stamped with that date?

It's funny how they distribute. I have been sick of certain issues filling a quarter of the count and in all the bags and then poof! I never see them again. Those "Police Officers" and "Supernovas" used to be such a pain. Right now there's a ton of pink frit princess players. Yuk.
