Had these put away for over 40yrs, since my father's friend gave them to me as a kid, he told me he was given them at my age-i put them somewhere around 100-110yrs old plus the amount of time the previous guy had them.

Can someone PLS help id them, as i've no idea....!! I just know that almost all are hand made. (I added some over the yrs) here is but a few....

Hard to tell from the pictures, better ones of fewer marbles would help with ID, but I don't see anything hand made- all machine mades from the 1950's on as far as I can see. Lots of very common marbles and looks like some condition issues. Others might see a few good ones or something I missed. But again, tough to see any gems from the pics.

Lots of Cats, over half and a lot of Vitro also. Not seeing any handmade, all machine made, might be some buried I can't see.

So do you know when they started machining them? If I grab a handful, the majority have a small circle (that i turned away from the pictures) where it looks like they were snapped off a glass rod or something-that's if that is how hand made were made.🤷‍♂️

Machin mades started between 1910 -1920 I don't see any visible handmades. If you have a few you think are take a few pix and someone will chime in and tell you if they are or not. Handmades were mostly made in Germany Between 1850-1910. Handmades are easily differentiated from machine mades. They can even be dated by how they were made. If you do take any pix please show the Pontil (if present) and any visible seams so the Manufacturer can be identified. Usually for a good I.D, a shot of any seams and each side 4-6 shots to show the entire marble. It may seem slow but you'll get a more positive I.D. that way "Thank You"   :)
