What kind of Rainbo is this?

Found this:

Yes, there is a specific vintage Peltier Glass Company marble known as the "Fire & Ice".

Here are the key details regarding this marble:
  • Description: It is a National Line Rainbo (NLR) style marble that features bold, bright, colorful ribbon work on a translucent blue base glass.
  • UV Reactivity: These marbles are UV active (fluorescent).
  • Rarity: They are considered hard-to-find (HTF) by collectors.
  • Appearance: They are known for having vivid colors, specifically described as having "electric" colors.
Collectors often look for these under UV light to see the contrast between the "ice" (blue base) and the "fire" (usually yellow/orange/red ribbons).

Is there a source for that info or did you get it from an AI? I know that there are some AIs that link sources they take from for answers.

I'm just curious where the info may have been taken from as a lot of AIs are happy to "go along" with things you ask about and make it sound more factual than it really is.

Perplexity AI always gives sources I think, so that would be the best one to ask about something like this so you can fact check what it says

I asked it about a "Fire & Ice" ID and said such a marble did exist. I asked it to verify its info as I was not seeing sufficient evidence in the sources it gave me, and it responded by essentially saying most of the references to that ID are from selling and auction sites and that it doesn't appear in actual identification sites... so it's likely not a widely accepted name in the community.

Either way it's still a beautiful marble and I think that name suits it.

While researching, I found another and grabbed it. Both on different  websites. They are electric colors. I should ask the other person about them since he called his a fire and Ice, too. Here's the 2nd.

Interesting.. I wonder where they're getting the name from. Maybe one decided to use it and the rest picked it up to help them sell better?

Hard to tell if they are really the same color combo or not, they seem different but then again these things vary a lot. My knowledge on Pelts is extremely limited so I can't say much more. With such nice colors, it'd be surprising if there wasn't a name given to these, at least the first one. Maybe someone else will know more.
