Steph
Wouldn't you like to have a few of these? (source) I did a check for them on ebay and was surprised to see how many brands there were. Guess it was a relatively standard item.

Steph
Hi Scott. I appreciate Sandra Mackintosh of East Market Street Antiques in Red Hook, NY for putting them on the web so that the world can see them.
Scoop
That is a cool display!!! One thing to watch for if your looking to collect.... Some of these use marbles... Some of them use a single, solid piece of glass that has ½ spheres molded into it and a cut metal plate over it... If your buying, in hand, it's pretty easy to tell... But, online, it's a question that needs to be asked. My experience is... The answer is usually like, "Well, I'm not really sure...." (It escapes me as to how someone cannot be sure!!! LOL .... But, that's my experience!! )
