The reason why i was asking is because i am tripping on the seam as to how far it extends around one of the marbles and on the other one it isnt to straight. The other questionable factor i had was the blotchy pattern they have. I just purchased them and needed to know if i should return them as contemps. Thanks for all your feedbacks, Kevin.

IDK how many of you live in Ohio but there is an auction going on over there and it has lots of mibs. Here is the link to the pictures. Also the website i found these on has auctions with marbles up in N.H. and PA too! Check it out... P.S. If anyone goes to these auctions because I advertised them then you need to send me a mib, lol... My link"]Marbles

Why Do You Collect Vintage Marbles?
Marbles4Case replied to richsantaclaus's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
My dad was collecting them when i was a teenager and after many years later and after joining the Navy he had asked me to look for some marbles for him while crossing the country from San Diego to Rhode Island during on of my transfers. Well in between i picked up what i thought were really nice ones and instead mailing them back to my dad i told him i was going to start collecting them myself. Ever since then i have been on the hunt. I think that is the most fun for me, the hunt, and that is what drives me (actually it is an obsession). Besides that i can stare at them for hours, i love meeting and greeting at the shows, and reselling/trading when i can. -
Seriously Bj, this is just sickening... What a display, A*W*E*S*O*M*E!

Why Not Many New Posts Is Everyone Dead
Marbles4Case replied to mordiskul's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
I am the 18th person to post in this thread and don't see that people are avoiding this place at all. I for one am living in Japan and i am in the Navy. So with that said my posts are few to none since i am gone 8 months a year out at sea. Everyone has there reasons for not posting from time to time but they are there. Just start posting and you will see the results just like in this thread. Kevin. -
Andrea, Yes. The Scenic Chinas that everyone comes to say are the real ones are glazed. The ones that are unglazed are subject to opinion.

Lloyd, No where in this lot did I try and hide that scenic China infact it is in about 4 pictures and 1 of them was a good one. On top of that I posted close ups in the thread ebay plug last night. So for someone who is trying to hide something sure does it in a funny way by posting it through out the marble community....... http://marbleconnection.invisionzone.com/i...showtopic=10231

LOL, well it is a tri-level solid core and as far as the gold bands they are really yellow which came out clumped up, with back round colors plus a little lighting it makes it look gold. Kevin.

Why thank you Bob and Felicia.... I am glad I can share.... Kevin. P.S. Everyone here has great displays!

Well JVV nothing can beat that clown, gotta love it! The funny thing is is that these are just a few examples of the most awesome handmades out there and nothing can take awy from their true craftsmanship...... P.S. Anytime you need a safe hiding place for that clown JV just let me know, because I have a great spot in my collection for it....

Whats not to like? These are simply my best type of marble. Nothing can beat a simple antique swirl. IMHO of course.....
