Goodbye not-so-lucky agate.
Digswithstick replied to bumblebee's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
Like you said hopefully the lucky person who finds it will join the hobby maybe become a collector and bring a friend or two also into hobby and collecting. By losing one marble you may have just increased the value of your collection. π -

Plastic marble was hiding in the mix
Digswithstick replied to The Nickel Guy's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
Watermelon, that was hiding in the jar . Could see part of it in there, wasn't sure until I got to car and untaped the lid and dumped them in a bag. Lucky day ,won the marble Lotto π -
Plastic marble was hiding in the mix
Digswithstick replied to The Nickel Guy's topic in General Marble & Glass Chat
52 plastic ones ,some swirls, some clearies. Lucky Joe peanut butter jar in background. Keeps them from getting mixed with the glass ones again π. Bought these many years ago in a cloudy quart jar. Didn't know they were plastic mixed in with twice as many glass ones. Best part was a old mint Marble King Watermelon in the jar,one of my favorite finds. Haven't seen any others until yours, must be more somewhere π€. π -

Thanks! They were things I made for granddaughters.Used a piece of landscape edging to keep from chasing the marbles. Think they have outgrown them,4 wheelers, cars , horses and cell phones took over . The cat still plays lol Last pic is spinning tops and what I made them of.

Posted these years ago, didn't get definite id . All purchased together in a cloth bag, pictured. Red white and blue, pretty sure it is Champion or Heaton. Are they the same maker or a mix?
