  1. One thing I have to mention.  I got these from a now deceased friend who collected.  He died in 2013.  So...these have to be prior to then.  Most of his Jabo collection appear to be from the 2008 era.  Also, I have not found any 3/4"ers that seem to fit.  I received them in a small plastic ziploc with the numbered paper and 3 other  3/4"ers.  Perhaps they will help you ID which batch they came from.

So the Peewees look like "tankwash"?

  2. @Nantucketdink  Hi!  It's been a couple of weeks, but here are the additional pics you requested.  I've been looking on Santa's Bling at Jabo runs between 2007-2008.  The only ones that look anywhere like these are in the Jabo Joker 2nd run "Oxblood Aventurine Series" 3/4".  Are Pee Wees from specifically purposeful runs?  How are they made differently?  Thank you.

  3.  Need help I-Ding, please!  This one was found in a mixed bag.  All Jabos, circa 2008-2010, I think.

This beauty is just over 7/8", base light blue, heavy green aventurine, some deep blue swirls, brown in places.

What does it mean to have a crease in a swirl form near where I think the pontil is supposed to be located?  Marble belly button? LOL!  I'm new pardon my off the wall joke attempts... but I am curious.

    Thanks!

  4. Can't tell whether this is a beginning or an end of cane?  Or something totally different...

I have a small bag with a hand written #390075793830 on it.  There are 6 marbles, probably Jabo. 3 are approx 3/4" and 3 are pee-wees.  Trying to identify. "Cleary" of some kind?

Sending several pics...first starting with pee wee.

  5. Not sure what these are, but in my acquired collection, I have this bag labeled #242 for whatever reason.  Inside, there are these cute marbles kind of pastel splotchy eggs...except for the Toe Breaker (?).  The big red one is about an inch and a half in diameter (Toe Breaker?) No clue what their history is.  Suspect modern...but from where?  Any insight would be helpful and MUCH APPRECIATED!  Thank you. :)

It's a type 4.  Just match it with the photos in the article.  It has green aventurine, the brown, and a red line.

Thank you!  That blue/grey, with what appears to be lutz, confused me.  What causes the brown and blue?  It seems the others have distinctive Cream/white, 2 shades of red, and green colors.  Pretty marble!

  7. Pouring through my acquired marble collection, I found a box of marbles unidentified other than grouped in small ziplocs with #s on them.  There was only one possible identifier, a marble box for 12 marbles.  It is empty.  I searched Google for Jabo Jokers and found Santa's Bling.com which pictured MANY Jabo runs from each year.  I am trying to identify this one run if anyone can assist, please.  Thanks in advance!

  8. Have an interesting swirl marble multi color with nice aventurine throughout.  There is a tiny "dimple" (not sure what to call it) around which is the signature.  I do know MMM is Mad Man Marbles...08 would be the date.  This particular one has a JT, not Jabo before the MMM signature.  What would that mean, please?  Anyone?

    Thanks, ahead of time!

  9. I've heard of MMM (madman marbles- Joe Schlemmer) but I have some bags of marbles labeled by a now deceased collector.  They are labeled MAD #40, etc. Titles: Egg & Ketchup, MAD #1 Trans Yellow, White, Wisp of GR ADV; MAD #38 X-mas Tree, GR ADV xx; MAD #13 Bright Red GOES, Heavier GR ADV.. etc.  Does anyone have a clue what the lingo may be?

I think the ADV means aventurine...?

    Thanks in advance!
