Is this a Jabo?? or a WVS--cut me some slack--lol
Fire1981 replied to akroorka's topic in Marble I.D.'s
I have a few of these and have always kept them sorted as Jabos. The 9/16 measurement still has me stumped. Did Jabo make 9/16 marbles🔥 RAR🍿🍿🍿 -
I think I posted these two before but never really got a I’d

This one is 1 inch. I thought it might throw it in here and see if it can be used as a time period example. I think this got ID as a Grenier🔥 RAR -
Mine too 🔥 RAR

OK ! Here I go Pelthead first. I think it’s a MK but kinda has the color combo of Pelt Fruit Cocktail. KINDA ! Since the ribbons did get pushed to the surface and bled out. I think that is a trait I look for when sorting my Cats and looking for MKs. Or ???? Is it a Pelt Cross-Thru🔥 RAR

A set of 4 does change this. If it was just one I would think a paper weight would kinda seal the deal. I’m chasing the idea of what kind of vessel would be made to present them pontils up and not on the floor🔥 RAR

The UV Pop is a big plus for sure🔥 RAR

I’m thinking a set of Paperweights. 🔥 RAR

I think these weren’t damaged marbles from the very beginning. They are all cut exactly the same. I think the intent was to present the best pontil out of what looks like “same cane” marbles. 🔥 RAR

200X on Tommy 🔥 RAR

This one is 1 and 1/4 inch. It’s purple. I thought this might be a slag that has some traits that might be a good cross comparison. 🔥 RAR🍿🍿🍿🍿🍿

I hope I’m not being seen as a HighJacker here in this thread. I hope my examples can some how fit in here🔥 RAR

These are 2 and a 1/4 inches. I can’t find an ID stamp on the claws. It looks to me like the method used to produce the Sulphide’s is present here. Would you call these some kind of Bullet Mold. Or ???? Any ideas on the origins one these ? 🔥 RAR

This thread is bomber. I’d like to throw in a few pics here of 2 casters I have. These were attached to legs. I just don’t know what legs the piece is attached to🔥 RAR

Bumpity Bump ! Throw me a 🦴 here. 3 Cub Scouts and a Dragonfly 🔥 RAR

So here you are a year later. I want to see a pic of the marble(s) that landed you here with us🔥 RAR

That one is clay marble. We’ll see if anyone has a different idea on the ID🔥 RAR

I would say this is an Alley from a dig. It’s a cool swirl for sure. I think the anneal fractures put this one in The Pit and then dug up 🔥 RAR

I’m going to post all 4 of these in one thread. Are these Vintage? I thinks so. Are there ID names attached to these🔥 RAR

Kind of like a fancy Rose (Row-Zay) kinda grape. 🔥 RAR

You have a mix of WVS. Some are common and some of yours can be ID by other members here. I think pic number 4 is the most interesting group of marbles in your pics. But ! What is up with the “marble” in the top left corner in your second pic. It looks like a weird grape. 🔥 RAR
