All of these names are very interesting. At least we know it's an Alley. I got a lot of studying up to do. What would be a good book that covers a lot of makers?

Hi, I'm Dave. 35.  I've been on the site for a few weeks. Thought I should properly introduce myself. I've been collecting for a month or so after receiving a bunch of marbles from my father. Thankfully these mibs take up a lot less room than the 100+ fruit/Mason jars I also collect. So far the Master marbles have peaked my interest. But I'm just getting started! 

Thanks Steph! That little green line on the Pelt got me all excited. lol hopefully we can get a bit more insight on the other two.

Are those ash trays cigar size? My Liga Privada No.9s would look really nice in one of those.

Apparently my father liked Vitro marbles when he was a kid.😳 He gave me a coffee can and a 2lb butter tub full of marbles. Didn't realize how many where there until I separated them from the others.

From what I can see, I don't think there is any oxblood. Thank you Steph!

Are these Akros? Both are 21/32. The black in the black and white one looks to have some purple.

Ric here's a better look at the Alley shooter. What would the name for this be? It looks very odd.

I went to the local flea market, and came across a bin of marbles. I picked out a hand full mib that tickled my fancy. I got a few I knew for sure, but I'll need some help with the others.

I thought they were, but I'm still pretty green at ID. Now I really wish they weren't all chipped up. 

So I acquired a large amount of marble. I got so excited looking through them all, and noticed a few "bad eggs". Not thinking much of it, I mean they can't all be perfect, I would sit them to the side. Then I started to notice a pattern...
