  1. I separated the 5 10/16” from the 7 9/16”. For each marble there are exactly three photos.
  2. Please see attached sets of three photos for each of 12 blue swirl marbles. The first 5 measure about 10/16”. The subsequent 7 measue about 9/16”.
  3. Please see attached photo. Vitro Whitie?
  4. Please see attached photos. I’m guessing these are Vitro Helmets but less sure about the second marble.
  5. Sounds like Alley and Peltier then. Thanks for feedback.
  6. Please see attached photos of green swirl. Maybe Alley?
  7. Please see attached photos of two yellow swirls. I’m wondering about Alley for the first one and possibly Akro for the second one.
  8. Excellent points. Now that Chad told me where to look, and Fire1981 suggested looking for remnants, I can see what look like pieces of mica on the periphery of both marbles. They are light off-white tannish in color. Please see photos. As Chad pointed out, the damage doesn’t appear to be marble hits. Damage looks too uniform across the entire surface of both marbles to have been a hammer. This suggests a natural process. I found both marbles while metal detecting the site of a circa 1900’s - 1910’s house that had been demolished. Probably some sort of erosion occurred while the marbles were buried underground for over a century. Not inconsistent with the possibility of mica marbles.
  9. It’s very hard to get photos of the mica layering pattern without interference from the superficial damage. However, a large chip broke off the green marble and I was able to get some photos showing the open undersurface of the green marble sitting on my green mica mineral specimen for comparison. Photos aren’t great. FWIW.
  10. I’m guessing that the mica would be all mixed in This is fuchsite (chrome mica) from my mineral collection Also: https://www.marblecollecting.com/marble-reference/online-marble-id-guide/all-other-handmades/
  11. Please see attached photos maybe showing mica marbles.
  12. The top marble appears to be a game marble. The second might turn out to be a Peltier Rainbo. More views are needed for ID-ing marbles. Please see additional photos three marbles with bright orange glow under UV.
  13. Please see additional photos for each of the four fluorescing marbles, including the heart of gold marble (lol).
  14. Thank you so much for taking time to review all of these photos, Steph!
  15. On top ... possibly another Vitro but I did consider Akro. More pix needed Please see additional photos.
  16. The left would also be a Vitro. I think probably a Conqueror, but it's a little different from textbook, so more views might give someone else a different opinion. Please see additional photos of presumptive Vitro Conqueror.
  17. Whoops. Only included backlit photos of marble on far right. The next three were for the presumptive Akro moss agate. “2nd from the left on the bottom is a Vitro Conqueror. Could be called a Phantom Conqueror. The collector's name "phantom" makes those sound special but I actually prefer the ones with solid coverage” Please see photos of presumptive phantom conqueror. (2nd from left on bottom, above) Verbal impact could be different than visual. If I casually mentioned to someone that I had a couple of phantom conquerors in my collection, I’m guessing ears would perk up more quickly than if I mentioned having a couple of conquerors.
  18. Please see additional photos with and without backlighting. Looks like it could be an Acme Realer.
