Hello again, with a second marble
Greeneyesgreenthumbs replied to mibby wonka's topic in Marble I.D.'s
I believe that one is a CAC marble diaper fold seam -
Jabo x2
-
Three are Marble King Marbles but the larger one is Akro or Vitro maybe it’s hard to tell here with the pics
-
Ding ding ding you’re correct. Vitro Agate Marbles you have a Conqueror and what looks like a couple Gladding-Vitro All reds and patch marbles. These are your more common Vitros
-
Vitro Agate Whitie marbles
-
Looks like Akro Agate to me colors are Akro. Straight seem on the one side so….
-
Has a Vitro Agate appearance to me.?
-
Transparent swirl marbles can be impossible to identify. There’s a lot of modern transparent swirls that further confuse identity. The ones you have appear to be a wire pull type of swirl I would start there and maybe you’ll find a match.
-
Heaton maybe
-
I have these two that have me guessing on the maker. I thought the pros here could help so here goes. Thanks for your time and help.
-
Peltier Golden Dragon Akro Agate error or Lazy corkscrew Alley Agate maybe Vacor Alley Agate Hard to tell for sure unless the marble is in hand. But these are my thoughts from the pics you’ve shown.
-
I appreciate the added info on the red. I have a couple similar to the one you’ve pictured here. They’re really pretty and fun marbles to own. Also, I thought the same thing about the Akro Sparkler similarities but there’s a lack of defined filaments and the colors here look more paneled than striated to me. But I agree with the comparison.

Thank you everyone. This marble is very nice. You could take 100 pictures of it and they’d all look different. Very photogenic Vitro. I’m going to call it a Tri-lite, thanks Ric! 2 Timothy 2:21

I believe this MIB to be Vitro Agate however I’m unsure of the type of Vitro this marble would categorize as. Tri-lite? Clear base, multicolored I count 7. Measures 0.64” Thank you for your time and input here.

Thanks Ron your subtlety caused me to laugh Coca-Cola out of my nose ouch it burns.

This one was hanging out with the Marbles in the Jabo Box. It caught my eye. I don’t think it’s Jabo. I think it could be Alley or? Any input is welcome. Thanks for your time.
-
Thanks Ron and everyone for y’all’s input. I’m confident in these both being Alley. The red one I don’t see any large bare white areas or any small spots of color in those bare white areas that Heaton tends to show plus it’s just to busy to be a Heaton.
-
I’ve seen Ravenswood like the red one to. But after looking further into these marbles the Amber glass looks like a match on both then the below pictures show similarities in pattern. I’m leaning Alley Agate but I Dont know I still have some doubt which is why pro input is needed Edit: the more I handle the red one the more I think it’s Ravenswood. I have a few of the red that are dug Heaton but the ones I have don’t match up to the glass quality of this one.
-
Thanks for your time. Ravenswood? Alley Agate? I’m in need of help from the pros here. These are both super killer swirl’s with the red Amber having one of the best road and tunnels I’ve seen. These measure 0.61” red white amber and 0.61” white and Amber . Thanks for your help!

Thanks everyone for your input. Ron, as always you don’t disappoint and offer clear understandable input that goes in depth. Your assessment on the swirl’s in to out pattern resonates with me. This will help me ID many of my swirls.

I was 100% Alley until I fell victim to the Heaton ear seen in the last pic. Odd pattern and nicely busy. Marble has an Alley Bloom pic 1 below a Ravenswood look (to me) pic 4 below and then the Heaton ear pic 2 below. There’s a couple of J’s that aren’t so much like the ones I’ve seen in Jabo marbles but I have Jabo’itis ya know? Then the last pic I took on a different background because the colors weren’t distinguishing themselves well in the other pics taken against the brown. I had to step back and go on to another marble before I saw Peltier in there. Ain’t that right Fire? lol.

Akro Patches are among my favorites of all Marbles. This one measures 0.64” inches and pre dates Vitros Phantom Conquerer. After The Phantom came out these took a dip in popularity. Great Marble
