Perhaps some collectors of "handmade" are no longer among us ..... unfortunately. Could this aspect also affect? Unless, it's a general thing. Anyway, I think that they should be collected like the other marbles, not only for the beautiful color combinations (some spectacular) but also and above all for their history. I am quite attracted to transparent marbles even if simple, however it is always difficult if not impossible to identify them since, any company could have produced them, unless they are like "this particular" identified as Vitro

Pink in ancient marbles was used more often, however always in smaller numbers than other colors, especially as regards the core

Yeah, good question Bruce. Benningtons is the most appropriate name to call these marbles, even for Europe, however, some call them indifferently Bennington or Benningtons, regardless of where they were built.....saluti r
