  1. Yes, Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy and also enjoys a mild winter climate, so much so that lemons and oranges are cultivated, ( not to mention the precious olive oil), just 50/100 km (31/62 mi) away is no longer possible without necessary protection.

ENCHANTING places even in the south!

Well, without a doubt, this immigration has generated not a few tensions here in Italy, as in the rest of Europe

We hope that this phenomenon of immigration will be managed in the best possible way

  2. If the marbles on the board have a blue base with only white stripes (Neptune), if the base is blue with white and light  blue stripes (blue jay)

The blue base of Neptune should be very dark, though, compared to the Eb of the table. Maybe a mix?

  3. Hi,

I am in Lombardy, in Brescia (northern Italy), between Milan and Lake Iseo and Lake Garda. This second one is wonderful, (I adore it!)  it feels like being in maritime areas, in fact it is described as "a sea between the Alps and the Po Valley"( I spend my summer weekends here ). But, even Lake Iseo has its charming spots, unfortunately with very few beaches, but beautiful to spend the day.

Then there is Lake Como, with its beautiful luxurious historic villas, so much so that George Clooney purchased one of these villas in 2002. Those who want to see beautiful 'houses' must go here!

Yes, Tuscany is loved by all Italians. The cities you mentioned are wonderful

Also, beaches, mountains, pine forests, yes, beautiful region!

Onion skin with a white underlying skin and 4 panels of other colors stretched over the white skin, no colored core but a semi sort of ghost core, this marble was still over 2 inches from pole to pole, a nice marble at one time, but a nice example to keep around.

Not an onionskin. There is no underlying skin covering the surface of the marble. Onionskins have an underlying skin of white or yellow most usually but could be any other color, with any combination of other colors stretched from pole to pole, more than often than not paneled..

I agree, they have more layers!  If you find a broken or highly polished one, you can sometimes see them go all the way to the center
