  1. Cool - I bet thats it! I probably picked this up when I was in Hawaii. Thanks! I found one just like it here: http://www.artglassusa.com/pages/shipwrecked.html him fer sure now!
  2. Mint marbles are graded 9.0-9.9 (Mint Minus is 9.0-9.2 and Mint Plus is 9.7-9.9); Near Mint marbles are graded 8.0-8.9 (Near Mint Minus is 8.0-8.2 and Near Mint Plus is 8.7-8.9); and Good marbles are graded 7.0-7.9 (Good Minus is 7.0-7.2 and Good Plus is 7.7-7.9). Finally, Poor (called "Collectible" by others) marbles would be graded 0.1 to 6.9, though few people would attempt to place an exact numeric value on a marble falling in this wide range. I assume a "0" marble would be mere dust! citation: Well known publisher and collector I never throw stones at "enterprising capalists" whahahahah!!
  3. Where do you find a drizzled design like this????
  4. Some of you have been snooping around my auction - cuz there is NO WAY you could have known!!!! ROFL
  5. This is the best image I have of the sig... its a scripted N - you know it has a long tail at the beginning and it a small N - not a capitol N so it has a rounded hump on the top might even be an "A" the date is right below and is legible as 2004 I have racked my brain on this one and cant figure it. Here is the sig upside down:
  6. Happy birthday LOU!!!! Thanks for putting up with us all for another year!
  7. I have had this one for years and thought it was an Eddie Seese - but it is signed "NOR 2004" any body got a clue who signs their creations "NOR"?
  8. bump - this one ends tomorrow. thanks for looking - real opportunities to get some nice mibs!
  9. Oh Okay - I didn't think you were referring to my starting bid - the link you originally gave sent us to his store and the first marble on the block was a $60 Rebel - I didn't scroll down to see the $600 listing. I do know that cost him an arm and a leg for the listing fee. It might be a typo that he did not catch yet - when he gets the bill after it doesn't sell he will be pissed at himself and when Epay won't refund their Exorbitant fee - he will really be pissed! LOL
  10. Okay - thanks - he appears to be a member here - so I sent him a message,
  11. Uhhh I think there might be other reasons Blocks marbles just sit there - I mean when it takes over 30 days for your purchase to arrive it kinda puts a damper on your desire to buy again....and other less obvious reasons. Quality photos - size and condition of the marble all affect the sale IMO the description is just along for the ride and can be fun or disinteresting either way. Collectors want the one size that they don't already have (usually bigger) and they want MINT marbles for the most part. and the seller has to be reputable of course - that helps.
  12. First off its a $60 start not $600 and let me tell you first hand - it really effin sucks to have a $60 marble sell for $20 bucks because you didn't want to pay Epay's fricken outrageous fees for starting a listing at $60 and having them collect wether it sells or not. If you start a listing at 9.99 it costs 50 cents - with a store - its 25 cents - if you start a listing at $60 it costs $1 per listing and that money is kept by Epay even if the item goes full duration without a bid. Kick in a reserve price - thats $2.00 and a Buy It Now price and you are over $3 per listing. NO REFUNDS! The seller is taking ALL the risks
  13. I have a Giant Marble - signed "OLD '03 " anyone familiar with this style and signature?
  14. The stand and the marble are for sale together - the stand needs a bigger marble - but the turtles match the underwater artwork - so I have always kept them together... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=230490755178&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
