  1. I haven't looked any further into it's identity other than what I posted...any opinions or thoughts of it's use or what fired it?
  2. No dirt in the household sinks so a good hose down in for this nice group of saved Mason's 😊 Nice variety of sizes too!
  3. Doing more research...75mm field artillery?
  4. Future project 😊
  5. And probably one of the coolest things found thus far, and a complete suprise when we found it, a 75mm shell! (Possibly a Sherman Tank) It was buried with a bunch of tools. Good thing we were using our hands instead of a shovel when it was discovered, could have been a bad day 😬
  6. 3 intact window frames...
  7. A seamstress must have resided here, considering all the evidence we have found (buttons, tons of material, some amazingly preserved, old thread spools, etc.)....thinking this piece is related. The construction is all metal with wooden rollers. At first I thought it was a part for a primitive washing machine but then again..
  8. A Singer sewing machine...
  9. More glass and pottery...now a total of 18 vintage blue Mason's, 2 of them like the one pictured....handmade Mexican pottery (miniature plates)...the little brown jars were found with tools and automotive...not sure what the last 2 pieces are yet either...
  10. Some automotive...not 100% on the last two pics but I think car parts, maybe tractor...
  11. Today is cleaning day...here's a bunch of stuff we found yesterday...various tools...
  12. Wow...Kreiter Manufacturing Company- founded in 1896 and apparently went out of business in 1930! In the very early 1900's they manufactured Player pianos...wondering if that's what this is...
  13. Boy, what a busy day. Actually filled up the trunk and backseat today. I'll post some pics of today's haul tommorow sometime, but here's a few of what turns out too have been a piano in the front part of the collapsed house. It appears to have been on the second floor according too where the remains are sitting. It actually saddens me some thinking about how this piano must have sounded in its day...
  14. Thank you again for having my back, my friends! Or, I should say, my "Extended Family!"
  15. Nice! For years I owned a Mt. St. Helens coffee cup. 100% Made from the volcanic ash, dated on the bottom. After all those years of having it in my possession, I returned it too it's"home", beneath the shadow of it's birthplace 😊
  16. Oh my Gosh, I just now got the phone call regarding my biopsy. This is in regards too the tissue they took last Friday because it showed up as a potential "hot spot" during my PET scan. Patty isn't awake yet so I can't tell her (wore out from the dig yesterday), but I can't contain my emotions! Test Results came back Negative! Totally Benign! Inflamed Tissue! My Friends....I Am Totally.... CANCER FREE!!!!!
  17. Better believe it! You won't catch me on the bad side of that wall! I'll give it another walkthrough when I'm there again (maybe today or tomorrow) around the outskirts of the home, and where I can safely enter, too see what else I can find. I easily see this continuing next year. No way we can cover and search everything out there before it gets too cold.
  18. Once I carefully clean it up I might attempt to CAREFULLY bend that one stem back into place. Maybe. Definitely don't want to damage it any further. If it has to stay bent, so be it!
  19. If you check out the 3rd pic I posted when I started this thread you will see that these adorned some woodwork that was affixed too the outer brick. These few I was able to pull from the rubble. It's kinda tricky as I'm sure what is still standing isn't very stable. I'm not going to find out by chasing the others I see! It was pretty windy out there today. So many downed trees and branches from over the years laying everywhere. Walnuts were dropping like crazy too. Nothing like playing dodgeball with walnuts plus listening for the dreaded cracking of wood 😬
  20. Liking it! 😳
  21. Today's haul of glass (the first pic), and a bunch of pictures of stuff from both today and yesterday that I have yet to clean...really happy with the 2 big blue Mason's not being broken! Don't think we're going out there tommorow so probably a cleaning day 😊
  22. Thinking we found where either an outhouse or pump house used to be...too tired too pursue digging it today. Got a few more cool little items and a buttload of antique canning jars (13 blue), along with various other small jars and bottles. All were dug from 1 too 2 feet down in the collapsed shed. Also found a few more antique tools, a decent sized animal trap, another bunch of zinc/porcelain lids, and a green, ribbed shaker. Also picked up a few of those big metal stars that once adorned the house. There are still some attached too what is left standing of the house (see pictures) Gonna rest, then maybe post some pics. Might be tomorrow because I am bushed!
  23. Car's loaded up with the proper excavating necessities and hitting the road for another afternoon dig 😊
