  1. Oh no, these were postcards that I found along with a couple bags of marbles (a few nice ones but mostly commons. A typical mix of Jabo, Vacor, MK, Peltier, some WVS, Clearies, and Imperials. Paid $12 for each quarter sized zip lock bag, and the postcards were $2 apiece....

I lived on the West Side, Merrietta too be exact, right off the I-10 eastbound ramp. I bet my mom's old prefab home is still on the corner with it's fenced in yard. Had a tanish brick house on one side and an empty lot on the other (back in the day it used to be a Chevron gas station. Went to Joeseph Stillwell Jr high right up the road. Memories

  13. I made a large batch of Sheperd's Pie yesterday afternoon....80/20 ground beef, 5 pounds of homemade mashed potatoes, Veg-all, and shredded mild cheddar cheese. Diced onions and a few shots of Worshchershire sauce while the beef was frying. Mixed the ground beef with the Veg-all and a few handfuls of cheddar cheese, spread on the mashed potatoes on top of that layer, then topped it off with two more handfuls of cheddar cheese. Salt and pepper the ground beef and mashed potatoes while making to your preference. Bake at 350 for about 30-40 minutes or until cheese is melted, your preference. Yummy!
