  1. I was just wonderin' if you ever found out any more info. FWIW, I found 7 MFC bricks in a dumpsite in north central wyoming. Seriously. Found 10 mibs in the ground that day within 5 ft of each other the other 3 were slags, not sure of the maker, but they were handgathered.....ok, enough hijacking. LOL

  2. I still think that referring to those marbles as being from Shanghai might be misleading to some folks. You ever find out if it was a general purpose dump or strickly a glass marble company dumpsite? Just curious. Cause if its a general dump, further proof would be needed. Just sayin'

  3. Do you still have the bag, where was it made, very few of the Anacortes bags/marbles were made. They moved from Parkersburg in 1987

Yes, I still have the bag. I am away from the house for a couple weeks though. :(

  4. I didn't realize that the Costmic Rainbos were quite that old. I got a brand new package in the store in 1993 (ish). Of course they are older than that date, the store was going out of business and not sure how long they had been on the shelves, but that many years seems quite awhile....I am now curious. Get to diggin' Steph and see what you can find!

  5. FWIW, I think many of the "Czech" guineas are actually of German origin. My shooter was from germany, and it was from a seller that does a lt of digging at the old glass sites there.

And IMHO, the marble at the start of this thread is a so-called 'bullet mold" type. (I dislike that term myself)
