Both of these strands are trade beads from Ghana.

The two powder blue strands in my pics (one with flecks) are trade beads from Ghana. The chevrons are all Chinese and not true Venetian. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to afford true Venetian chevrons.

i've seen pictures of the german beads that do look a lot like marbles. Interesting to learn they are actually marble cane! Now I want them even more. But they are spendy!

Anyone else here into beads/African trade beads? Here are pics of some of my collection. I love trade beads, chevron, bone and shell, furnace glass, millefiori, vaseline, Czech glass and more!
